Raipur: Chief Minister reached the 100-year-old fair: On November 1, the farmers of Chhattisgarh were buzzing with the installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and good paddy harvest.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached the Madai fair to be organized in Ranitarai village of Patan block of Durg district today. This Madai fair is one of the earliest Madai fairs held in the district and one of the biggest fairs in Patan block. In his address on the occasion, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that on November 1, the installment amount of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana came into the account of farmers. It was a day before Dhanteras. Due to this, the expected buying took place in the market as well. Today I am seeing the huge crowd in Ranitarai who have come to the fair. After a long gap, this big fair has taken place in this area. Feeling very happy to see the immense happiness, crowd of people. Due to the pro-agriculture policies of the government, the faces of the people have brightened. The relief that the government has provided to the farmers will continue unabated.

 

The Chief Minister said that there is a shortage of DAP in the entire country, there may be a shortage of DAP in the next Kharif season also. Because of this, production of vermi compost is being done on a large scale in the state through organic farming. This time the farmers who have taken vermi compost have got a good crop. On this occasion, the Chief Minister appealed to the farmers to take the landed crop. He said that the fertility of the land comes back by taking crops like pulses etc. Input subsidy is also being given by the government for taking these crops under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Farmers should take advantage of this.

 

The Chief Minister said that the State Government is doing all possible work for the development of Patan area. Announcement of college in Ranitarai or to start Swami Atmanand English Medium School here or to illuminate the whole village through CREDA. There is no dearth of resources for the development of the region, the government is committed for rapid development. On this occasion, District Panchayat Vice President Shri Ashok Sahu also addressed the gathering. Simultaneously, Sarpanch of the village Mr. Nirmal Jain expressed his gratitude towards the Chief Minister. On this occasion, President of District Mandi Board Durg Shri Ashwani Sahu, Collector Durg Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure and Durg SP Shri Badrinarayan Meena along with other public representatives and officials were present.
