Mr. Soren and Mr. Baghel inaugurated the exhibition focused on tribal lifestyle and development plans

Raipur, 28 October 2021: During the ongoing National Tribal Dance Festival at the Science College ground in the capital Raipur, the Chief Ministers of two tribal-dominated states of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand also jugalbandi by playing traditional musical instruments and trumpet. When Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren started playing Thodka, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel supported him by playing trumpet. This interesting sight was seen at the stall put up by the Public Relations Department. Traditional musical instruments prevalent in the tribal communities are displayed in this stall.

The Chief Guest of the National Tribal Dance Festival-Rajyotsava 2021 organized in the capital Raipur, Jharkhand Chief Minister Shri Hemant Soren along with the Chief Minister of the State Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the development exhibition organized by various departments of Chhattisgarh Government at the venue and inspected it. The Chief Minister inspected the stalls of Water Resources Department, Public Works Department, Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology Department, Aajeevika Gudi (RIPA) and became aware of their functioning.

During the inspection of Minor Forest Produce Processing Units at Aajeevika Gudi (RIPA), he observed the working of Mini Oil Mill, Mini Dal Mill and other small scale units like Murra, Chana, Lai, Popcorn Bursting. During this, Mr. Soren also tasted the taste of Chhattisgarhi Murra.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel apprised the chief guest Mr. Soren about the livelihood related activities being conducted there by showing the model of Gauthan constructed by the Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology under Suraji Gaon Yojana. Along with this, the officials of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University told about the different varieties of ragi flour, kodo, rice, herbal gulal and rice being produced in the university.
