Raipur, 05 October 2021. Hundreds of beneficiaries were benefitted in a mega camp organized by the Social Welfare Department in the District Hospital premises of Balod today at the hands of State Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia. In the camp, Minister Smt. Bhendia provided normal tricycles to 14 Divyangjans, battery operated tricycles to two Divyangjans and wheelchairs to 19 Divyangjans under the Saksham Vikas Yojana. Minister Smt. Bhendia has given smartphones to two differently abled people, tablets to three differently abled people under Mission Gunj scheme, ADL to three differently abled people under Saksham Vikas Yojana. Kits and cell phones, MR to ten Divyangjans Kit distributed.
Minister Smt. Bhendia gave checks to five persons with disabilities under Disabled Marriage Promotion Scheme, checks for education incentives to four disabled persons under Kshitij Apar Possibilities Scheme, Ch. Under the Disabled Finance and Development Corporation, a check of the exemption amount of uplift subsidy, a check of twenty-twenty thousand rupees to ten beneficiaries under the National Family Assistance Scheme, identity cards to five third gender community persons under the program for the third gender welfare and four persons with disabilities. Minister Smt. Bhendia honored the elderly people present in the camp by providing shawls, quince, sanitizers and masks. Addressing the camp, Minister Smt. Bhendia gave detailed information about the welfare schemes of the government and motivated them to take advantage of them. Sanjari-Balod MLA Smt. Sangeeta Sinha also addressed the camp. On this occasion, public representatives of the area, dignitaries including Collector Mr. Janmejay Mahobe, Superintendent of Police Mr. Sadanand Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Dr. Renuka Srivastava, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department Mr. Nadeem Qazi etc. and a large number of beneficiaries were present.
