Raipur , 02 October 2021. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today unveiled the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi installed in the Ram Mandir complex on the occasion of 152nd birth anniversary year of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi during his stay at Bemetara .
Chief Minister Shri Baghel paid homage by garlanding the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. During this, he prayed for the prosperity of the state by offering prayers at Lord Shri Ram Janaki temple. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel honored the families of freedom fighters, Shri Malluram Deen Dayal Soni , Shri Nandlal Sharma , Shri Ramesh Sainik , Shri Mohit Verma and Shri Komal Verma with shawls , shriphal. During this, he had 5 sanitation workers of the municipality, Mr. Samelal Chauhan , Mr. Tuleshwar Chauhan , Mr. Bilvaram , Mrs. Sati Sahu and Mrs. Chanda’s shawl ,Awarded with Shriphal and Certificate. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel interacted with the children dressed up as Mahatma Gandhi and encouraged them. On this occasion, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu , Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey , Parliamentary Secretary Shri Gurudayal Banjare , MLA Shri Ashish Chhabra , Municipality President Smt. Shakuntala Mangat Sahu and other public representatives , dignitaries were present.
