Raipur, 28 September 2021. On the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, now the new generation will be connected with the basic teachings of Mahatma Gandhi in Chhattisgarh. These will be included in the academic curriculum of classes 5th to 12th to make children aware of Gandhiji’s ideals and principles. In this, education will be given to the children of urban as well as rural areas according to the intention of Gandhiji.
For this, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has instructed the Chief Secretary that the state government should ensure the provision of self-reliant education along with the all-round development of the children.
On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, to fulfill the concept of self-reliant village of Gandhi ji, school children will be told about Narva, Garuva, Ghuruwa and Bari in detail under the government’s ambitious Suraji Gaon Yojana by taking a tour of the village. This will enable school children to get knowledge on the rural economy as well as on topics like water conservation and soil conservation and will help in realizing the dream of self-reliant village.
