Shepherds and cattle rearers have got a new source of income from the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Production of vermi compost in Gauthans has provided employment and income opportunities to women self-help groups. At the same time, organic farming is also being promoted in the state. He said that very soon electricity generation from cow dung would be started in the state. Its technology and its economic aspects are being studied. This will increase the income of women self-help groups.
