Against the approved target of 11 lakh 75 thousand metric tonnes for chemical fertilizers by the Government of India for Kharif season 2021 in the state, so far 8 lakh 97 thousand 405 metric tonnes of chemical fertilizers have been supplied, which is 76 percent of the approved target. .
So far, 11 lakh 84 thousand 559 metric tonnes of fertilizers have been distributed to the farmers in the state for the Kharif season 2021. It may be mentioned here that as on April 1, 2021, the savings wing of chemical fertilizers in the state was 4 lakh 75 thousand 544 metric tonnes, In which the quantity of 3 lakh 26 thousand 6 metric tonnes is included in the private sector and one lakh 49 thousand 538 metric tonnes in the cooperative sector. So far, a total of 11 lakh 84 thousand 559 metric tonnes of fertilizers have been distributed to the farmers, including the savings wing and the fertilizers received in the current Kharif season. According to the information received from the Agriculture Department, against the target set for the current Kharif season for the cooperative sector of the state, against the target of 7 thousand 25 thousand metric tonnes, so far 5 lakh 8 thousand 994 metric tonnes and against the target set for the private sector 4 lakh 50 thousand so far. 3 lakh 88 thousand 411 metric tonnes of fertilizers have been supplied by the Government of India. So far, 6 lakh 19 thousand 601 metric tonnes of manure have been distributed to the farmers through the cooperative sector and 5 lakh 64 thousand 559 metric tonnes through the private sector.
