Ms. Rowan Ainsworth, Consul General of the Australian Consulate, who was on a two-day visit to the state of Chhattisgarh, has appreciated the Suraji Gaon Yojana Narva, Garuwa, Ghuruwa, Bari and Godhan Nyay Yojana of the Government of Chhattisgarh. Australian Consul General Ms. Ainsworth reached Adarsh ​​Gauthan Navagaon in Abhanpur block of Raipur district this afternoon and took stock of the income-oriented activities carried out by women’s groups including the provision of fodder and water for livestock, purchase of dung, manufacture of vermi compost. Ms. Ainsworth expressed her happiness over the management and management of the Gauthan built for the conservation and promotion of livestock. During Gauthan observation, she took information about the entire process of making vermicompost from the women of self-help groups and said that by using this manure, the land of Australia can be made more fertile.

 

Consul General Ms. Ainsworth was briefed by the women of self-help group associated with Gauthan about the whole process from purchase of cow dung to de-composing and using vermicompost prepared earthworms. Ms. Ainsworth took information from the women of self-help groups engaged in vegetable production under the Bari scheme, from planting vegetables to production marketing and income to be earned. He saw bitter gourd, ladyfinger, barbatti, papaya, banana, gourd, bhaji etc. grown in the body and also inquired about the irrigation system. The sisters of self-help group told about the pungent plant, the Satavar plant, which is planted in Gauthan, that their consumption increases the immunity of the person. He saw the shepherd’s room, cattle shed and kotna etc. built in Gauthan and said that this would encourage animal husbandry.

 

Ms. Ainsworth planted Amaltas sapling in Gauthan on this occasion and said that she would definitely come during her upcoming visit to Raipur to see the Amaltas sapling planted in Gauthan. Assistant Collector Mr. Abhishek Kumar gave detailed information about Godhan Nyay Yojana to Ms. Ainsworth. Senior MLA Mr. Dhanendra Sahu, local public representatives, officers of the concerned department, employees, women of self-help groups and rural people were present on this occasion.
