Raipur, 31 August 2021. The North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) has been awarded the ‘Organization of the Year’ at the 10th Annual Global Community Oscar Awards ceremony in the US. The event was held on 28 August in Chicago in the presence of several global community leaders and USA politicians. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated all the members of NACHA on being conferred with the Global Community Oscar Award. He has said that Chhattisgarh is a state built in rich culture and folk traditions, it is the pride of every Chhattisgarhia to bring its merits to the country and the world. Senior US Congressman (House of Representatives) Danny Davis, along with international organizations American Multi-Ethnic Coalition and Multi-Ethnic American Task Force, sponsored the Community Global Awards. Nacha was started in Chicago in 2017 to promote Chhattisgarh heritage and culture outside India, and is now an international brand and hosts several events to promote the state and support the Chhattisgarh community on a global scale.
