Raipur: Headquarter of Mohla-Manpur-Chowki will be at Mohla and headquarter of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh will be in Sarangarh: Chief Minister Baghel

Raipur 17 August 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that the headquarters of the newly formed district Mohla-Manpur-Chowki will be at Mohala and the headquarter of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh will be at Sarangarh. He said that the headquarters of the new district would have the offices of the Collector and the Superintendent of Police. Along with this, offices of some departments will also start in Manpur and Chowki and Bilaigarh. Chief Minister Shri Baghel was addressing a delegation of citizens from newly formed Mohla-Manpur-Chowki and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh districts at his residence office here today. He said that new districts would come into existence very soon.

 

Addressing the citizens of both the districts, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that Mohla-Manpur-Chowki, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh have now progressed on the path of development. With the formation of a new district, the distance between the administration and the citizens of the area will be erased. Government offices will open. People will get the benefit of the schemes of the government in a better way. Five new districts have been created by the state government in the last two and a half years, due to which the number of districts in the state has increased from 27 to 32 and the number of tehsils has increased to 222. With the creation of new districts and tehsils, people of rural areas will get a lot of convenience for their work. He said that to fulfill the dreams of our ancestors, we should all be empowered together. To make Chhattisgarh capable and prosperous. Shri Baghel said that the demand for making Sarangarh a district is 50 years old. The people of the area have struggled a lot for this. Sarangarh needs no introduction. This is the Tapobhoomi of Baba Gurughasi Das. There have been many famous personalities from here. In which former Chief Minister and Raja Naresh Chandra of Sarangarh and bureaucrat Shri Sharad Chandra Behar are the main ones. He said that the Chhattisgarhi dialect of Sarangarh is very sweet. He said that whenever he used to go to Sarangarh, there was only one demand that when would Sarangarh become a district.

 

Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, the people of both the newly formed districts said that they have given a historic gift by fulfilling the years old demand. On this occasion, citizens of both the districts felicitated the Chief Minister by presenting wreaths and mementos. Citizens who came from both the newly formed districts said that the announcement of the new districts has created a wave of happiness among the people of the area. With the formation of a new district, the plans of the government will reach the grassroots level. The last person of the society will also get the benefit of the schemes easily. He expressed his gratitude towards the sensitivity and vision of the Chief Minister.
Citizens said that when the new districts were announced on August 15, the citizens of Mohla-Manpur-Chowki and Sarangarh-Bilaigarh areas rejoiced. Citizens said that Mohla-Manpur is a forest area and is less than other areas in terms of development. With the creation of a new district, now development works will accelerate. The citizens of both these areas also informed about the struggle and efforts made to create the district. The citizens of Mohla-Manpur-Chowki district demanded to declare it as a tribal district and link it with Bastar division and Bastar Development Authority. People on this occasion extended their best wishes to the Chief Minister on his birthday, August 23.
Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister for the formation of the new district, Parliamentary Secretary and Mohla Manpur MLA Shri Indershah Mandavi said that the people of the area will always be grateful for this historic gift. He said that with the formation of a new district, development works in the Vananchal area would get a boost. Sarangarh MLA North Jangde, former MLA Smt. Padma Ghanshyam Manhar and local public representative Shri Arun Malakar expressed their gratitude for making Sarangarh a district. A large number of citizens from both the districts including Chhattisgarh State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Mr. Girish Devangan, former MLA Govardhan Netam and Mrs. Tejkunwar Netam were present in the program.
