Raipur: Rotary India Literacy Mission will cooperate in the field of adult literacy: MoU between Rotary India and SCERT in the presence of Chief Minister

Raipur, 8 August 2021. A free MoU was signed between Rotary India Literacy Mission and SCERT Chhattisgarh at his residence office here today in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. Under the MoU, Rotary India Literacy Mission will cooperate with the State Literacy Mission Authority in conducting the upcoming New India Literacy Program and preparing student volunteers to make the illiterate literate in the field of adult literacy.
The cooperation of the local Rotary Club will be taken to revive adult education. In addition, it will reward teachers with supporting activities (training modules, certification) and Nation Builder Awards for training. Along with this, creation of e-learning materials will help in vocational and skill development. A collaboration program will be run by Rotary India Literacy Mission to connect school-taught children in the mainstream of education.
On this occasion Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, Rajya Sabha Member Shri Vivek Tankha, Secretary, School Education and General Administration Department Shri Kamalpreet Singh. , SCRT Director Mr. Rahul Venkat, Rotary’s International President Mr. Shekhar Mehta, Mr. Sunil Pathak, Mr. Akhil Mishra, Mr. Shashant Rastogi, Mr. Manjit Singh, Mr. Gaurav Jindal and office bearers of Rotary India were present.
