Raipur, 4 August 2021. More than one crore people in Chhattisgarh have received the first dose of COVID vaccine. Till August 3rd, the number of people in the state who have taken the first dose of COVID vaccine had reached one crore 11 thousand 363. Including the first and second doses of corona vaccine, a total of one crore 24 lakh 13 thousand 724 vaccines have been administered so far. 24 lakh two thousand 361 citizens of the state have received both the doses of the vaccine.
Three lakh nine thousand 334 health workers, three lakh 17 thousand 172 frontline workers, 52 lakh ten thousand 068 above 45 years and 41 lakh 74 thousand 789 citizens in the age group of 18 to 44 years in the state have been given the first dose of the vaccine. Meanwhile, two lakh 45 thousand 714 health workers, two lakh 29 thousand 897 frontline workers, 17 lakh 48 thousand 292 people of age above 45 years and one lakh 78 thousand 458 people in the age group of 18 to 44 have received both the doses of the vaccines. In the state, 89 percent of the citizens of the age above 45 years and 31 percent of the citizens in the age group of 18 to 44 have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
