Raipur: Representatives of people’s representatives and villagers of Sukma and Bijapur districts met the Chief Minister.

Raipur 25 July 2021.  A courtesy call on Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his residence office here this morning, representatives of people’s representatives and villagers of Sukma and Bijapur districts of Bastar zone. The Chief Minister took information from the public representatives and villagers about the on-field status of various public welfare and development schemes of the state government in both the districts.

 

During the discussion with the delegation, the Chief Minister said that all possible efforts are being made by the State Government to fulfill all the development related needs of the people of Bastar region including Sukma and Bijapur districts. Come forward to take advantage of the schemes of the rural state government. The Chief Minister also asked the public representatives to make efforts to connect more and more villagers with government schemes.

 

The villagers told during the discussion that even in the villages in the hinterlands of the forest areas, the villagers want roads, electricity, hospitals, ambulances and ashram-hostel facilities for the education of children. Roads and bridges, culverts are being constructed in the area. Now the fear of the villagers has been removed due to better law and order situation and their movement in the interior areas has become easier. People are able to visit their relatives for marriage, death and social work. He said that now the health facilities have become better than before. Health workers from bike ambulance and Haat Bazar clinic in Sukma are providing health services to the villagers. Solar lights have been installed in villages. Haat-markets have started in the interior areas.

 

On this occasion, MP Mr. PL Punia, Mr. Saptagiri Ulka, Mr. Deepak Baij, Industries Minister Mr. Kawasi Lakhma, MLA Mr. Mohan Markam, Mr. Vikram Mandavi and Mrs. Devati Karma along with Dr. Chandan Yadav were present.
