Raipur, 24 July 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has said that farmers have great expectations from the cooperative bank. To make the rural economy self-reliant, there is a need to expand and strengthen the cooperative movement. Along with the farmers, laborers, cow pals, tribal brothers and sisters of Vananchal should also be linked with cooperative banks, So that they can also get the benefit of the facilities of the bank. The Chief Minister was addressing the joining program of newly appointed Chairman of District Co-operative Central Bank Rajnandgaon, Mr. Nawaz Khan through video conferencing from his residence office here today. The Chief Minister congratulated and congratulated the Chairman of the Bank, Mr. Khan on getting the new responsibility. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced construction of co-operative bank buildings at village Manpur and Mudhipar (Khairagarh) of Vananchal in Rajnandgaon district. He said that the building of each co-operative bank would be constructed at a cost of Rs.36 lakh. The program was organized at Padmashree Govind Ram Nirmalkar Auditorium, Rajnandgaon.
While addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that the state government has given the slogan of Narva, Garuva, Ghurva, Bari, Gauthans for animals have been constructed under Suraji Gaon Yojna, where women of women self-help groups go to Godhan Nyay Yojana. We are manufacturing vermi compost and super compost from the dung procured under it. So far about 9 lakh quintals of Vermi Compost and Super Compost prepared by the clusters have been sold, Which is being used by a large number of farmers. Farmers using vermi compost say that they are getting good results from vermi compost. He said that farmers are facing problems due to non-supply of chemical fertilizers by the Center as per the demand of Chhattisgarh. The state government is making continuous efforts to supply them. Mr. Baghel said that farmers should move towards organic farming by using more and more vermi compost, agricultural and horticultural products and grains obtained from organic farming will be beneficial for the farmers from health and economic point of view. On this occasion, the newly appointed Chairman of District Co-operative Central Bank Rajnandgaon, Mr. Nawaz Khan said that he will try to fulfill his duty with full devotion with the expectation with which the State Government has entrusted him with this important responsibility. Efforts will be made to take the schemes of the state government to the villages through cooperative banks.
