Raipur, 23 July 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to freedom fighter and popular politician Late Shri Bisahu Das Mahant on his death anniversary on 23rd July by garlanding his portrait at his residence office. Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar was also present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister has said on this occasion that the whole life of Late Shri Bisahu Das Mahant was associated with public service. In undivided Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mahant rendered his invaluable services for the development of the state as MLA and Minister. Hasdeo Bango Irrigation Project is the realization of his dreams. He carried out the works of agriculture, irrigation and roads in the area for the betterment of the people. Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that according to the ideals of Late Shri Bisahu Das Mahant, the State Government is committed for the construction of New Chhattisgarh. By following the path of public welfare, work is being done to give new dimensions to the development in the state.
