Nodal Officer Deputy Collector Sumit Garg said that from April 1, 2021 to July 20, 2021, a total of 24 thousand 46 passengers were tested for corona, in which 773 passengers were found to be corona infected. According to the information received, 286 have been found infected in railway station Akaltara, 41 in Naila, 232 in Chapan, 24 in Naya Baradwara and 190 in Sakti.

It is noteworthy that for the prevention of Kovid 19 infection, passengers coming from outside the railways will have to compulsorily show RT-PCR negative report within the last maximum 96 hours. Passengers who have RT-PCR negative report within the last 96 hours will be allowed to go home and passengers who do not have negative report will be given corona test. Passengers whose corona test will come negative will be allowed to go home. On coming test positive, they will be sent to the local Quarantine Center Home Isolation, Kovid Care Center as per the established procedure of last year. For this, arrangements have been made for transportation etc. Employees have been instructed to do duty by wearing masks and following social distancing.
