Raipur, 13 July 2021. Passenger transport bus service, which has been stalled in the state for almost 15 days, will resume from July 14. After a discussion with the Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar at his residence office in Raipur this evening between the officials of the Chhattisgarh Traffic Federation, it was decided to call off the strike of passenger buses. About 12 thousand passenger buses will start plying on the state roads from July 14.
Transport Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar informed that today discussions were held with the officials of Chhattisgarh Transport Federation in a cordial atmosphere. The demands presented by the traffic federation were discussed in detail and it was decided to consider those demands sympathetically by the state government. The traffic federation has gladly agreed to transport the buses keeping in mind the problems being faced by the general public due to the suspension of bus services in the state. All 12 thousand passenger buses in the state will run from July 14 on the prescribed routes according to their permit and schedule. Buses will be operated keeping in mind the Corona guidelines.
On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Transport Federation President Mr. Syed Anwar Ali, Convenor Mr. Narendra Pal Singh Garcha, Senior Vice President Mr. Kadeer Ahmed, Secretary Mr. Shakeel Ahmed, Mr. Champalal Sahu and Bus Stand Traders and Passengers Federation President Mr. Suhail Sethi, Convenor Mr. Ejaz Khan. and other officials were present.
