Raipur, 10 July 2021. In Chhattisgarh, the Forest Department has organized a program of sowing seeds and seed balls of fruit plants on the same date on July 11 simultaneously at the state level. Under this, as per the intention of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, 25 lakh seed balls will be sown in forest and non-forest areas of the state, including seeds of 50 thousand kg fruit plants.
Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar has given necessary instructions to the officers of the Forest Department for its successful organization. Under this, sowing or sprinkling of seeds of fruit-bearing species like Ber, Jamun, Bael, Sitaphal, Karonda and Munga etc. and seed ball delay work will be done in the forest and non-forest areas of the state. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Chief of Forest Force Shri Rakesh Chaturvedi informed that the target is to sow 3,000 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Balodabazar, forest division wise. Similarly, 2 thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Gariaband, 3 thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Dhamtari, one thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Mahasamund and 3 thousand kg fruitful seeds in Kawardha and one Million seed balls will be sown.
1500 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Khairagarh, 1500 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Rajnandgaon, one thousand kg fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Balod, 1500 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Surajpur, In Korea 1500 kg fruitful seed and one lakh seed ball will be sown and in Surguja 2 thousand kg fruitful seed and one lakh seed ball will be sown.
Forest division wise 1500 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Manendragarh, 3 thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Balrampur, 1500 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Jashpur, 1500 kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Raigarh. There will be sowing. 3 thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Katghora, 500 kg fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Bilaspur, 3 thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Marwahi, one thousand kg fruitful seeds and one lakh seed balls in Dharamjaygarh In Janjgir-Champa, 500 kg fruitful seeds and 50,000 seed balls will be sown. Sowing 1500 kg fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Korba, 500 kg fruit seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Mungeli, 1500 kg fruit seeds and one lakh seed balls in Bastar, 1000 kg fruit seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Sukma Will.
One thousand kg fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Bijapur forest division wise, one thousand kg fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls in Dantewada, South Kondagaon 1500 kg fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls, 1500 thousand kg fruitful seeds 50 thousand seed balls in hair will be sown. In West Bhanupratappur one thousand kilograms of fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls, in Narayanpur one thousand kilograms of fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls, in East Bhanupratappur one thousand kilograms of fruitful seeds and 50 thousand seed balls and in Kanker one thousand kilograms of fruitful seeds and 50 thousand Thousand seed balls will be sown.
