Raipur: Instructions given to take in cases requiring permission for treatment and other arrangements

Raipur, 29 June 2021.   Public Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Minister T.S. Singhdeo attended the meeting of the Autonomous Committee of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur. In the meeting held at the Medical College today, he asked to make available timely information about the financial needs of the Medical College and its affiliated Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital so that they can be included in the regular budget of the department. He directed to take prompt decisions in matters requiring permission in treatment and other arrangements under various schemes of the government.

 

 

 

MP Shri Sunil Soni, MLAs Shri Satyanarayan Sharma and Shri Kuldeep Juneja, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, Secretary Medical Education Department Smt. Shehla Nigar and Raipur Division Commissioner Shri A.K. Toppo also attended the meeting. MLAs Sarvshree Satyanarayan Sharma, Kuldeep Juneja and Vikas Upadhyay suggested good study-teaching facilities and expansion of medical facilities in the medical college.

 

 

 

Medical Education Minister Shri Singhdeo directed to make maximum use of the funds available in different departments to provide better medical services to the people through Medical College Hospital. He said that initiatives are being taken to arrange more and more resources to provide quality treatment to the patients. In the meeting of the autonomous body, the receipts and expenditure in the financial year 2020-21 and the proposed budget for 2021-22 were discussed in the medical college. M.Sc conducted in the Department of Biochemistry Biotechnology, ENT B.A.S.L.P. conducted in the department The budget for courses and physiotherapy college was also approved.

 

In the meeting, it was decided to waive off the rent of the coffee corner and stationery and photocopy shop located in the medical college premises for the period of their closure due to Kovid-19 infection and being in a restricted area. Permission was also given in the meeting to purchase necessary materials for medical college, hospital and hostel.

Singh, Dean of Medical College Dr. Vishnu Dutt, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Hospital Superintendent Dr. Vineet Jain, DKS Superspeciality Hospital Superintendent Dr. Shipra Sharma, Director-cum-Professor Dr. K.K. Sahare, Principal of Government Physiotherapy College, Dr. Rohit Rajput, M.Sc. Course Director of Biotechnology Dr. PK. Khodiyar, Dr. Manya Thakur and Dr. Devendra Nayak were also present in the meeting of the autonomous body.
