Raipur: Chhattisgarh government is working in the interest of villages, poor and farmers – Minister Dr. Dahria

Raipur 29 June 2021.     Urban Administration and Development and Labor Minister Dr Shivkumar Dahriya inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than Rs 71 lakh in a program organized at Baihar Gauthan under Arang Vidhan Sabha today. On this occasion, he also planted trees along with the public representatives. Addressing the people, Chief Guest Minister Dr. Dahria said that the Government of Chhattisgarh is fulfilling the aspirations and expectations of the people. The dream of the development of Chhattisgarh state which the people of the state had seen is being fulfilled under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel. A new picture of the state is being created. The old culture of the village was revived through Narva, Garwa, Ghurwa and Bari and Gauthan. Women Self Help Groups are being made self-reliant through Gauthan. This is the government of villages, poor and farmers and is continuously working in this direction.

 

Minister Dr. Dahria further said that commendable work was done by the state government for its prevention during the Kovid period. Even during the time of Kovid, the people of the state were given continuous gift of development works. Recently, Bhoomi Pujan was inaugurated by the Chief Minister for development works worth more than 7 thousand crore rupees. Minister Dr. Dahria further said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana has benefited the farmers and relief has been provided to the people by waiving off their loans and waiving their electricity bills. This has increased the income of the farmers. Minister Dr. Dahria said that during the time of Kovid, the effect of economic slowdown was not seen in the state. The economy of our state remained strong. He said that our government is completing development works with the help of the people of the state. We are continuously moving forward in this direction. He informed that development works worth billions of rupees have been approved in the last two and a half years in Arang area. He said that the Gauthan of Behar has its own identity. People from other states are also coming to see it. Has also received National Award twice. Minister Dr. Dahria gave instructions to buy cow dung here regularly. District President Arang Shri Khileshwar Devangan, Sarpanch Smt. Geeta Sahu and Smt. Shakun Dahria also addressed the program. Mrs. Dahria said that tree plantation is a virtuous act. Due to this people will get both oxygen and shade in the coming time. He said that the stream of development was flowing in the state under the leadership of the Chief Minister. On this occasion Smt. Keshari Mohan Sahu, Chairman, Shri Chandrashekhar Chandrakar, President Municipality, President of Nagar Panchayat Shri Aju Ram Vanshe, Shri Omprakash Yadav, Shri Ravi Shankar Dheevar, Shri Amrit Patel etc. were present. Everyone planted trees in Baihar Gauthan.

 

Sanitation material distributed to the women of Self Help Groups

 

In Behar, Minister Dr. Dahria also announced to inaugurate development works worth more than Rs 71 lakh and to provide CC road construction and kitchen material during Bhoomi Pujan. During this, the minister and his wife Smt. Shakun Dahria also distributed sanitation materials to the women of self-help groups. Minister Dr. Dahria appealed to the people to take precautions to protect against Kovid with cleanliness. He said that there is a need to be careful about the third wave. Therefore, wearing a mask and adopting social distancing. He also administered the oath, motivating everyone for vaccination.
