Raipur 27 June 2021.  School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam joined the webinar organized by the Samagra teacher before the start of the second year of the Padhai Tuhar Dwar program conducted to continue the education of the children during the Corona lockdown. discussed in relation. He announced to provide awards to 36-36 teachers from each district who take regular classes regularly under Padhai Tuhar Duar programme. Minister Dr. Tekam said that in the webinar, efforts were made to find solutions to the problems of children’s regular studies through innovative teachers. In the program, discussions were held with teachers from Bastar to Surguja. He said that as per the thinking of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, ‘Go to Mohalla class and study, then Nava Chhattisgarh Gadbo’. This work will be completed only with the active participation of all the innovative teachers. More than 62 thousand teachers participated in the webinar. The School Education Minister listened to the experiences of 22 innovative teachers.

 

School Education Minister Dr. Tekam said that under Padhai Tuhar Dwar program last year teachers of the state have done good work for the education of children through innovation. He said that this is the second session of the lockdown and right now we cannot predict when the schools will open. Keeping such circumstances in mind, we will have to do better work than last year. Changes have to be brought in the way of work, only then we will be successful in our work. Minister Dr. Tekam said that technology was not used much before Corona, but last year children and elders have also started learning new technology and using it very easily. He said that earlier we used to work very hard to support the education of the children from the community. Now the parents and the community themselves are taking the initiative and becoming the education charioteer to teach the children. For teaching-learning teachers have to give a lot of training. Corona prepared everyone for better and effective teaching by finding new ways according to their own circumstances.

 

School Education Minister Dr. Tekam said that the teachers of Chhattisgarh have made many innovations. Now is the time to channelize these innovations towards improving children’s achievement. To see the effect of the hard work of the innovative teachers, the baseline will be taken at the beginning of this year itself and then the changes coming in the children will be continuously monitored. He urged the teachers to come forward voluntarily to look at various options to make children’s studies interesting and use the best option among them according to their circumstances. Everyone will be required to teach the students using some or the other option.

 

Principal Secretary School Education Dr. Alok Shukla said that this year the situation is better than last year. Admission to the children in the schools has been given through online. The names of the admitted children are available school wise. So far, online entry of 49 lakh children has been registered school wise. This will enable school wise monitoring. Teachers will now be able to assess each child’s education. He said that SCERT has been directed to develop a system of assessment for all subjects. Children should be quizzed and their answers should be kept in the school records, so that their results will be useful. The Principal Secretary informed that the Setu course has been prepared to teach the skills of the previous class well. Teach the children who have not learned from the previous class, in a month, so that the children can acquire the skills according to the teaching of the present class. He said that instructions have been given to the Text Book Corporation to deliver the text books to the cluster level by July 15. The book delivery has started.

 

School Education Secretary and Commissioner Public Instruction Dr. Kamalpreet Singh said that online classes should be made more effective by selecting the place for conducting the Mohalla or Para class. Apart from this, the instructions given by the School Education Department should be followed for conducting the classes. Each teacher should do the teaching work by making a time table according to the course of that class. He said that the learning outcome should be like a normal school. Children should get maximum benefits of online education. Try to make studies interesting through local resources. He said that wherever there is a good teacher, children will come to study there. Community support is essential for children’s education. For this, the cooperation of the local sarpanch, panch, members of the school committee and parents should be taken.
