Raipur, 24 June 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel paid homage to Veerangana Rani Durgavati on her sacrifice day by garlanding her portrait at his residence office here today. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, State Mineral Development Corporation Chairman Girish Devangan were present on this occasion.
Baghel has said in his message on this occasion that Rani Durgavati is one of those brave women of India, who wrote a new story of valor with her valor and courage. She not only took over the Gondwana kingdom after the death of her husband but also made it prosperous with her skill. Rani Durgavati sacrificed her life to protect the motherland and self-respect. His courage and sacrifice will always continue to inspire the countrymen.
