This includes construction of 26 roads of 249.53 km in Balod district, 18 roads of 187.49 km in Baloda Bazar district, 6 roads of 66.82 km in Balrampur district, 4 roads of 75.78 km in Bastar district, 13 roads of 91.24 km in Bemetara district, 29 roads of 254.81 km in Bilaspur district, 13 roads of 108.98 km in Dhamtari district, 15 roads of 99.75 km in Durg district, 10 roads of 111.06 km in Gariyaband district, 15 roads of 154.46 km in Janjgir-Champa, 6 roads of 85.24 km in Jashpur district, 21 roads of 206.59 km in Kanker district, 18 roads of 200.23 km in Kawardha district, 8 roads of 81.08 km in Kondagaon district, 15 roads of 167.15 km in Korba district, 18 roads of 264.97 km in Koriya district, 15 roads of 159.51 km in Mahasamund district, 12 roads of 125.91 km in Mungeli district, 15 roads of 201.51 km in Raigarh district, 11 roads of 85.60 km in Raipur district, 38 roads of 342.15 km in Rajnandgaon district, 17 roads of 251.03 km in Surajpur district and 13 roads of 166.40 km in Sarguja district will be constructed. Today in Mantralay ‘Mahanadi Bhavan’ under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Mr. R.P. Mandal, 26th meeting of state level standing committee under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna was held. In meeting, committee approved the proposal related to road construction. These proposals will be sent to the Government of India for further approval. In the meeting, Mr. Mandal gave instructions to pace up the bridge construction work and also emphasised on compliance to the quality standards.
In the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Mr. Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary Forest Mr. Manoj Pingva, Principal Secretary Chief Minister Secretariat Mr. Gaurav Dwivedi, Secretary Mineral Mr. Anbalgan P. Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency engaged in technical work including Mr. Alok Katiyar CEO of Development Agency were present.
