Raipur, 04 June 2021. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s decision to relax the 10 percent limit in compassionate appointments has opened the doors of government jobs for the youth. Under this, 45 youths have been given government jobs by the Education Department alone in Balodabazar district. Similarly today, on submission of application for compassionate appointment by Satyanarayan Sahu, he has been given appointment in Assistant Grade-3 within a few hours. District Education Officer Mr. CS Dhruv informed that 59 teachers have died suddenly due to corona in the district. Out of which 52 people had applied for compassionate appointment. Processing all the applications within a week, we have issued appointment letters to 45 of these applicants till date. He said that compassionate appointment is the right of the dependents after the untimely death during the service work of the government servant. Therefore, we are following the instructions of the state government and the guidance of Collector Shri Jain. It is noteworthy that the limit of 10 percent in compassionate appointment has been relaxed till 31 May 2022.
The Collector congratulated the District Education Officer, while showing his promptness, the District Education Officer Shri CS Dhruv appreciated him for resolving these cases. He also praised the work of the Education Department. Giving instructions to the district officers of other departments today, he said that if any person is eligible for compassionate appointment as per the instructions of the state government, then they should be appointed soon and their applications should be resolved. If there is no post in your department, then immediately forward the application to the district office.
