Raipur: Task Force constituted to suggest measures for the overall development of the state

Raipur, 31 May 2021. Task forces related to various areas are being set up by the State Planning Commission to suggest measures for the overall development of the state. The Commission firstly suggested to the Chief Minister’s advisors Mr. Pradeep Sharma, Shri, to give suggestions to the Commission for development in the fields of agriculture, water promotion, food processing and allied development, tribal development, forest and wildlife management, minor forest produce management and school education. Working groups have been constituted under the chairmanship of Rajesh Tiwari, Shri Vinod Verma.     
State Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Shri Ajay Singh informed that in addition to the above-mentioned special teams, task forces will be set up soon on the other 10 important topics related to the development of the state, as per the expectations of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. He also informed that the eminent subject matter experts of the country have also been included in these task forces, so that the state can get the benefit of their expertise. The concerned departmental secretaries, heads of departments have been entrusted with the task of combining the task forces. 
Mr. Singh said that the task of the task forces is to consider the aspects related to the development of the state and give suggestions. The task force will also consider the problems being faced in the state and their solutions in various areas related to the selected subjects. The task force will also consider the feasibility of implementing successful policies, programs, best efforts at the national and international level in the state. The scope of Task Forces also includes making suggestions regarding the effectiveness of related schemes, programs of the departments and other relevant matters. As per the Task Forces, themed working groups can also be formed and other experts can also be invited.
Work will be started in this area by calling an early meeting of the Task Forces by the Commission and the State Government will be made aware of the recommendations received after consultation in the meeting.
