Mr. Baghel said that Rajivji had a deep affection for Chhattisgarh, with a simple, simple nature. He also closely observed the tribal culture and residents here and worked for their development. Mr. Baghel said that the Government of Chhattisgarh started the ‘Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana’ on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister late Shri Rajiv Gandhi last year, under which 19 lakh farmers of the state transferred Rs 5628 crore directly in their accounts in four installments done. This year also, on May 21, farmers will be given the first installment of this scheme in the form of Agricultural Input Assistance (Input Subsidy). He said that Rajiv ji did not bow down to terrorism and did not even care for his life for the country.
