Raipur, 12 May 2021. CG vaccine web portal through video conferencing from his residence office in the capital this evening to ensure arrangements for vaccination in a convenient manner for people of all ages of 18 to 44 in the state to avoid corona from Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel Launched. This web portal has been created by Chips, in which along with online registration, this facility is also available that a person without mobile can also register with the help of the help desk set up by the district administration at other places including panchayats, urban bodies and municipal corporations. One can get vaccinated by getting it done in web portal. CG vaccine web portal of Chhattisgarh government has been prepared keeping in mind the social and geographical conditions of the people here, So that people do not have any kind of trouble for vaccination. With this innovative initiative of the Government of Chhattisgarh, people will not have to install long lines or time for getting the Corona vaccine. For registration in CG vaccine web portal, the information has to be uploaded on the link http://cgteeka.cgstate.gov.in/user-registration. After the registration process is completed, the person concerned will get the information about the place and time of vaccination through SMS.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, while launching the CG Tika web portal, congratulated the officials of Health Department and CHIPS. The Chief Minister said that the social and geographical location of the state of Chhattisgarh is such that every person has neither a smart phone nor internet facility in all areas of the state. The Chief Minister said that 48 percent of BPL Antyodaya and destitute category ration card holders do not have mobile. Due to compulsory system of online registration for corona vaccination, BPL Antyodaya and destitute people would have been deprived of vaccination. Keeping these in mind, CG Tika web portal has been developed by Chhattisgarh government through CHIPS. Along with the online registration in this web portal, the facility of registration is also available with the help of the help desk team. He congratulated the officials of CHIPS for the creation of a web portal for Corona vaccination in the state of Chhattisgarh in a short span of time. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that the convenience of all sections of people has been kept in mind in this web portal. People will get accurate information about the place and time of vaccination. People will not have to go astray for vaccination.
On the occasion, Principal Secretary of the Health Department, Dr. Alok Shukla said that the facility of registration will start through the web portal inaugurated. He informed that at present the information about the place and time will be given to the people who are registering after two-three days. He informed that the state of Chhattisgarh has received 5 lakh vaccines so far for people in the age group of 18 years and 44 years, out of which 4 lakh have been vaccinated. Only one lakh vaccine doses are left. As soon as the new vaccine is introduced, those who register through the web portal will be informed about the place and time of vaccination through SMS. Additional Chief Secretary Shri Subrata Sahu, Secretary to the Chief Minister, Mr. Siddharth Komal Pardeshi were present on the occasion.
For registration of people who do not have mobile or net connectivity facilities, the help desk will be set up by the collector at other convenient places including Panchayat Headquarters, Municipal Bodies and Municipal Corporation, where people will be able to register themselves. All collectors have been asked to spread the help desk facility so that people can take advantage of it.
