During vehicle checking in Raipur, about Rs 33.5 lakh was seized from the SUV car of Durg businessman Lalchand Khatri. The Income Tax Department was informed as no valid document was shown regarding the money. The entire matter is of Amanaka police station area.
Amanaka police station is running checking campaign by barricading and foot patrolling in many areas of the area. The police got this success while checking vehicles near Kumhari toll naka Chandandih on Tuesday evening. Attempt to mislead the police.
When the police asked the businessman about the money, he first tried to mislead by giving vague answers. He did not have any valid documents regarding this money. So the police confiscated this money.
Rs 5.5 lakh also seized from 2 persons
On October 20, Devendra Nagar police was also checking vehicles in front of City Center Mall. During this checking operation, the police stopped two persons traveling in a two-wheeler and interrogated them. He named himself Jitendra Sahu and Keshav Ram Sinha. When the police checked the bank with these persons, they found Rs 5 lakh 87 thousand 300 in cash. The police also seized this money and informed the Income Tax Department.
