Chhattisgarh BJP has already surprised everyone by declaring its candidates for 21 seats. Now this month the second list can also be released. It can have 28 to 30 names. All these will be the seats in which the party had to face defeat by more than 20,000 votes last year. There is a possibility that the names may be announced in and around Raksha Bandhan.
In the meeting of the election committee held at the BJP state office on Monday, there was a brainstorm regarding the names of the remaining seats. State in-charge Om Mathur had said that the second list will come soon. The BJP had earlier shortlisted 54 such names, where there was a big defeat last time. The first candidates are being declared on these seats. The first 21 seats have been declared under this formula.
Those who were brought to BJP, they are sure to get ticket
It is believed that those who have been included in BJP recently will get tickets. IAS Neelkanth Tekam is also included in them. The party can field him from Keshkal. Similarly, Anil Nirala, who subscribed with hundreds of workers in Sitapur, is likely to get the ticket. Dharma Guru Baldas of Satnami Samaj is seeking ticket for his son Khushwant Das from Arang and the party may give him the ticket.
Many equations will change with the entry of the religious leader’s son in the BJP.
In Raipur North, the party seems to be in a mood to give ticket to a member of the Sindhi community. There are many names for this. The name of Amar Parwani, President of the Chamber of Commerce, is prominent. However, it is being told that he does not want to contest elections from BJP. So former MLA Srichand Sundarani is again in the queue. Along with them, BJP’s media in-charge Amit Chimnani and Lalit Jaisingh are also active. Despite this, the strongest name that is being discussed by the Sindhi community is that of Uday Shadani, the son of Yudhishthir Lal, the head of the Shadani court. According to party sources, if Uday Shadani contests the elections, the Sindhi community will fight the elections unitedly, otherwise the votes will be divided. Looking at the claim of Sindhi society in the north, both Sanjay Srivastava and Rajeev Aggarwal can turn to the rural side. Although Amit Sahu’s name is already in discussion here.
If not for Raipur North Sindhi community, then Bilaspur’s math will deteriorate
Amar Agarwal is the strongest contender from Bilaspur. Minister for 15 years and MLA for 20 years. It is being said that the party has given him two options, both Kota and Bilaspur. But this also depends on the equation of Raipur North. Actually, Dr. Lalit Makhija from Bilaspur is also a strong contender, who comes from Sindhi community. The party believes that at present a candidate has to be given from the Sindhi community. Therefore, if Samaj gets ticket from Raipur North, then Amar Agarwal will contest from Bilaspur only. If the Sindhi community does not get ticket from Raipur North, then the opportunity of Lalit Makhija will increase in Bilaspur. In such a situation, Amar Agarwal can be asked to prepare for the quota.
Single name in south, problem in west
It is being said that there is only a single panel in the south. There is only Brijmohan Agarwal from here, while Ashu Chandravanshi and Meenal Choubey are also named along with Rajesh Moonat in the west. However, there is also a discussion that Rajesh Munat can also be given the option of a villager.
